You can create photos from credit-card size up to 8.5" x 11", and your documents will feature bold, laser-quality text. It's fast, too: A beautiful 4" x 6" borderless print takes only about 47 seconds. For convenience, you can print photos directly from digital cameras, DV camcorders and even camera phones; and, the two paper trays let you store photo paper and plain paper, so you're always print-ready.

Weak paper transport system November 18, 2008 E. Cutler (New England) Bought this printer for light home use because it was cheap and fairly small. After printing about 20 pages, it mangled a sheet. I pulled the jammed sheet out per the manual's instructions (it came out in one piece), but the fault light will not go out no matter what I do. The transport system is completely clear. I'm kicking myself because I bought an extra set of ink cartridges with the printer, which are now useless. I never had a problem like this with any of my HP printers. Stay away from Canon.
Canon Pixma iP3500 Photo Injet Printer September 21, 2008 Dan Wimpey (SE Georgia USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Canon iP3500 operates quickly, reliably and quietly. The separate ink tanks and print head features allow very economical printing. You merely replace the color ink tank you need. The separate inkjet printhead is easily cleaned and reused. The photo quality is very good with various standard paper sizes offered. I especially appreciate its print speed, cost of operation and efficient paper handling. I have used laser, dot matrix and various inkjet printers. If you only have a choice of one printer, you cannot go wrong with this printer.
Canon printer September 12, 2008 Pam T. (Lake Barrington, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a terrific little printer for a very affordable price. It works well with Vista, which was a problem with my older HP printer. The photos turn out very well--it's also a fairly quick printer.
Quick & Easy on a Mac August 27, 2008 Thomas L. Miller (Clearwater, FL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The printer arrived, I installed the software on my iMac, the ink cartridges in the printer, selected the printer on my Mac and printed. Couldn't have been easier!
Paper jams and limited functionality with PDF files July 31, 2008 Michael Lingg (Riverbank, CA) This printer fit perfectly into a cubby in my computer desk, as long as I chose to use only the front paper tray. Frequent paper jams from the first day were just the beginning. Whenever trying to print an Acrobat PDF file, it claims to be "out of paper" until you pull the printer out, put paper into the rear tray, and press "Resume". Customer support said "This can be evident if the overall settings for the driver are used by most applications except the one in question". So it's Adobe's fault? PDF is when of the most common file formats on the planet and Canon couldn't write the driver to work correctly with Acrobat? Don't offer me two paper feed trays and tell me one won't work. Support went on to say that I would need to go into the Acrobat "print properties" and tell it (again, every time) to print from the front tray. This my first and last Canon printer.
