 Works great w/ LG tv. September 1, 2010

I purchased this for use with my LG lcdTv. Hooked it up to my Mac Book Pro and it worked great. It feels solid and matches the white MBP.
Quick note, in some cases you need to tinker with the display settings on the mac. System Settings -> Display -> Resolution.
Because this display adapter communicates as well as displays...it will actually save your desired resolution when the adapter is plugged in. For example my native res is 1280x800...as soon as I plug in the adapter it switches to 720p.
Downside...I think it's WAY to expensive. That's nothing new with an apple product.

This adapter is great! I bought a flat screen monitor so my girlfriend could bring her work laptop (PC) home. This adapter lets her use her personal laptop (a Macbookpro) on the same monitor. It works great, is easy to use, and she is happy. Thus, I am happy. Thanks!!

This device lets you connect a regular VGA screen, left over from your PC, up to your Apple iMac MB950LL/A 21.5-Inch Desktop and have dual screens. It works well and the computer identifies it with no problem by name.

This is not Apple Original Mini-Display port to VGA adapter, its a Copy of Apple adapter. But, It is working great and can do things what you want it for half the price of Apple adapter.
