CANON PIXMA MP610 PRINTER December 1, 2008 Russell C. Cheek (TEXAS) RECEIVED CANON MP610 PRINTER IN GREAT SHAPE IN 4 DAYS. PRINTER WAS EASY TO SET UP. PRINTS BETTER THAN ANY OF MY OLD PRINTERS. PHOTO PRINTS ARE GREAT.
Great product at a low price December 1, 2008 Peter J. Lague (Ramrod Key Florida) I purchased this printer rather than buy more cartridges for my Dell printer that jambed all the time. Those expensive cartridges were half the cost of a new printer with cartridges and I was not stuck buying inflated cartridges from Dell
smoking fast November 16, 2008 David L. Patrick (South Bend Wa. USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm amazed at the photo quality and speed at geting the job done. I replaced a lexmark 5400 with it. That thing was a real dinosaur. Not to mention an ink hog. The ink cartridges are actually reasonably priced in comparison. I wouldn't trade it for anything else. very pleased in Washington state
Good printer except for scanning with Macs November 13, 2008 Mimi (Murrieta, CA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this printer just over a year ago and really liked it - until I bought a Mac. It will not scan, period. And, in perusing various Mac Forums, this seems to be a common problem. Of course, I bought a bunch of ink just before I discovered this flaw. I need the scan to work due to my small home business. So, if you have a Mac and don't care about scanning, it's a very nice printer. Otherwise, forget it. It looks like my daughter will have an early Christmas present! I'm trying to find a Canon printer that will scan and uses the same ink cartridges, which are expensive, but I'm afraid to try another Canon, just for this reason.
Amazing All-In-One for the Home Office November 6, 2008 Memento Mori (East Coast) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this Canon Pixma MP610 in my home office and have done so for about 6 months, I've found the device to be worth every penny I paid for it and more. It allows me to effortlessly copy, print, scan and it has many of the advanced setting of a printer double it's price. The good thing is these settings are automatically set, but can be tooled around with if the user desires to do so. I'm still on my original ink cartridges, with the exception of black which I just replaced, and have found the device pays for itself with its reliability and time-saving features. When compared to other devices which may or may not have these features, and usually end up breaking in about a year (see anything by HP or Lexmark) there is really no comparison.
