| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Wind Top AE1900 offers the touch screen function along with an easy and friendly user interface, MSI Wind Touch; you can simply touch the screen to access all PC functions. Wind Top AE1900 also considers user's needs by four sorting categories: work, fun, tool, and web. You can browse all of the options through your finger tips across the screen and start programs by touching the graphic icons. The next-generation PC control won't get any easier than this.Unlike the awkward techie design, Wind Top AE1900 was created in a trendy eye-catching design which lets a desktop PC can also be part of your home decoration and life style. It also saves space and adds more fine taste to your personal environment. There is no need to worry about the fan noises like traditional PC! AE1900 uses the latest cooling technology to control the noise level no more than 26 decibels, which is as quiet as a library, for creating the most comfortable working and e-learning environment.

| Customer Reviews: Good but could be better December 23, 2009 D. Chambers (CA, USA) If you have ever used a tablet before, than you will know what to expect. Using it as a touch screen with your finger doesn't always give you the results you want, especially if you are trying to use Windows like you normally would. If you have a tablet pen, this works much better than your finger. I think products like this need to come with an OS that is tailored to touch screens, and be made for fingers not pens (like Microsoft touch).
Other than that it works pretty well.
Vista on this thing = FAIL! November 25, 2009 Deimos (Alberta) These units are not bad for low end applications like email or internet but the specs are rather low for the price and it has Vista. Even when I tested one of these it failed numerous times and the units I saw at staples were slow, and three out of four of them were blue screened on display. There isn't a lot you can do with this unit other than windows live mail, IM, and internet stuff, if thats all you need than Vista may work for you but for the rest of us this is useless. Like the other reviewer said it does take about a half hour for initial setup, same as the HP touch smart which is a pain in the a$$ but there you go, don't expect speed here, when you turn it on go have a coffee.
Nice little all-in-one for event space. July 29, 2009 DJS (SoCal USA) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
We ended up using 3 of these, thanks to their versatility.
Negatives:
-Initial setup takes up to half an hour, so whatever reason the machine doesn't install all software until you first turn it on. It should come from the factory ready to go.
-The drive is partitioned, C: being the OS and programs, and the D: set aside for "data". Partitioning is not needed with todays OS, so I don't know why they do this. Because programs, documents and music will by default look to install on the C: drive, it will soon fill up. They should have just made it one logical drive.
-There is the usual PC junk like a trial of Norton etc that needs to be banished.
-No standard VESA mount for wall hanging.
Positives-
-Once you are up and running it's a pleasant experience. The Atom processor is not a world beater, but fine for everyday computing needs.
-You can add RAM, but prepare to break out your screwdriver set, and find some hidden tabs at the top. Not for novices.
-The back stand can be removed with a little work, and a modified mount added.
-Portable, simply unplug power and you can move the whole system from place to place as needed.
-Touchscreen works well enough (no multi touch here).
