Amazon.com Product Description--Posted July 7, 2008
The TEAC SR-L250i-B has everything you could ask for in a table radio. Enjoy music from your iPod, CD, AM/FM radio, or even an auxiliary source via the audio-in. Wake up to your favorite tunes with the full-featured alarm clock, and control everything from afar with the included remote control.

iPod dock, CD player, AM/FM radio, and alarm clock, all in a compact package. Click to enlarge.

The LCD with three-step dimmer lets you find a brightness setting that suits you.

Control the SR-L250i-B and your iPod with the included remote control.

iPod Dock
The SR-L250i-B's universal iPod dock will charge your device while it's in use, so you can enjoy your tunes at home without sacrificing battery time. iPod dock adapters are included for most dockable iPod models; non-dockable models can use the auxiliary input. A dock cover is included for when the dock's not in use.

AM/FM Radio
Enjoy great reception with a phase-locked loop (PLL) synthesized AM/FM tuner, and keep your favorites readily accessible with the 10 AM and 10 FM user presets.

Slot-in CD Player
Yes, many of us still own physical music. Use the slot-in CD player to enjoy your favorite CDs; CD-Rs and CD-RWs also are welcome. Features Program, Repeat (1/All), and Shuffle Play.

Alarm Clock
The SR-L250i-B features a dual digital alarm clock for separate wake-up times, a sleep timer for enjoying music while you drift off, and a snooze button for delaying the day's events just a few minutes more. Wake to your favorite AM/FM radio station or your favorite iPod tunes. The LCD with three-step dimmer lets you find a brightness setting that suits you.

Rich Sound
Two 2.30-inch full-range speakers--along with bass-reflex speaker boxes--provide quality audio. Mute it if you need to, and use headphones if you want to really crank it without bugging the neighbors.

Full-Featured Remote
Use the included remote to control the SR-L250i-B's various features, and enjoy remote control of your iPod's functions and menu when it's docked.

Auxiliary In
Use the aux-in (3.5-mm mini jack) for connecting external devices, such as MP3 players.

What's in the Box
TEAC SR-L250i-B Hi-Fi Table Radio (Black), remote control, iPod dock adapters, dock cover, manual.

Great product! Saves space. Sounds good. High quality. All the features you need and none that you don't. Also a great value for the money. One thing that will surprise you is the bass and all out definition of sound that comes from this small appliance.

4 out of 5 stars Great sounding clock-radio for ALL digital media   November 11, 2008

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the alarm won't work unless the unit is OFF (which also kills the lighted display). However, I figured out a work-around: set the "timer OFF" BEFORE the "timer ON" time to ensure that the unit will be off after you listen to whatever you listen to when you go to sleep. Yes, there's a TIMER function, but then you can't see the time (at night in the dark) if the unit is OFF!

This system has very good sound. I was going to get my daughter a Bose, but I liked the fact that this had alarm clock function. Good product for the value. Not cheaply made or junk at all.
