Complete convenience January 7, 2009 Warren Heady (Central Virginia) This adapter makes downloading info from an SD card so convenient and easy. A must if your computer doesn't have a built in card reader.
Works for me! December 28, 2008 R. Garcia (Corpus Christi, TX) My laptop and PC both recognized it right away. I have not had any problems with it yet, had mine for about 3 mths. I do not use usb cords anymore because of this. Works great and for a good price.
Great tool to have in your pocket, plastic is cheap December 23, 2008 Jeffrey J. Campbell (Commerce, MI USA) This is a great tool to have in your pocket. Not only does it read your cards but if you keep an old SD card in there you can use it as a flash drive :) Only problem is that the plastic is cheap, and after a while the covers will crack and stop working. But what can you expect for such a cheap reader.
Doesn't work at full USB 2.0 speed December 14, 2008 T. Nguyen (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've tried it with many PCs and never has it been recognized as a USB 2.0 device. I've compared this card reader with a friend that has a very similar one and we noticed that some components were different under the transparent plastic shell. The model I've received might be from a different batch and it would cost more to ship it back than to order another model.
Works December 11, 2008 Dean Bielanowski (Brisbane, Queensland Australia) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These things either work or they don't. This one works fine for me. There are a million and one different brands of these reader/writers... All do pretty much the same thing. This one being USB2.0 does allow faster transfer rates of course.
