Once this card has been installed in your PC you will have a simple and easy way to connect up to three IEEE 1394 FireWire devices. Connecting DV camcorders, hard disk drives, removable drives, scanners, printers, and other 1394 A/V devices including TVs, VCRs and DVDs will be a breeze. Supports data transfer rates up to 400Mb/s. The video editing software works with Sony, Panasonic, Cannon, Sharp, JVC and many other DV camcorders for digital video creating/editing. True to its plug-n-play nature, the card allows you to connect your camera to the PC anytime in order to transfer multimedia video from your digital camera to your PC for editing. Once completed, you can deliver the finished video back to your camera. The flexible 3-and-1design also provides an internal port in case you are using an internal FireWire device such as a hard drive.
