Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Why push a mouse when you can just point? Adesso's Easy Cat with Glidepoint Technology makes it easier than ever to control your PC. Simply glide your finger over the smooth surface of the pad and gently tap on the pad or click the buttons to perform all cursor movement functions. Plus, the Easy Cat's solid-state design means no inconvenient breakdowns and no moving parts to clean.

5 out of 5 stars Great Touchpad   December 17, 2008

I'M DISABLED AND HAVE VERY LIMITED USE OF HANDS. THIS MOUSE WORKS GREAT. I CAN HOLD IT IN MY LAP AND USE IT VERY EASILY

1 out of 5 stars Not as good as it looks   December 6, 2008

The touch pad works fine but the buttons dont work. you probably need a hammer to push the buttons down or know which angle to press. Flimsy body and needs an upgrade along with the buttons.

5 out of 5 stars Great for laptop users!   November 11, 2008
N. Mcaleavey (Voorheesville, NY United States)
These touchpads are a superb alternative to a mouse especially for those who primarily use a laptop (with its included touchpad). The Easycat offers all the best features - scrolling, on pad-clicking along with typical mouse movements. I'm surprised they haven't caught on, personally, as every laptop has one and one may lose some perceived functionality between a touchpad and a standard mouse. This makes navigating on a desktop the same as your laptop. Sweet!

4 out of 5 stars cramped fingers   October 12, 2008

This is a handy little gadget. It takes some getting use to, but it is much better than having a mouse which can hurt your wrist and shoulder. I hope to enjoy this item for a long time to come and get relief to my arthritis. I also appreciated the cost.

5 out of 5 stars Replaces my mouse   May 9, 2008

I had meant to buy the USB version, but bought the PS/2 version by mistake. However, I'm now using a previously unused plug on the back of my computer.
The Easycat Touchpad works as advertised. I had to reboot my computer to install it (using Windows XP), but that was the extent of the installation.
This touchpad is accurate and responds well. I bought it to use instead of my mouse, and I'm happy to say that my wrist is feeling much better because the mouse just sits idle now. However, the mouse still works. I can alternate between the touchpad and the mouse without any intermediate action needed.
This touchpad is set up to scroll, left-click, or right-click from its surface, and these functions work quite nicely.
My hands are too large for a mouse. Most people can rest their hand on the mouse and then exert pressure with their fingers to click the buttons. I could not relax my hand (wrist) on the mouse without clicking the buttons. With the touchpad, I can relax my hand on the desk next to the touchpad and then extend and manipulate my one finger as required. This is a much better system.
