| Features:
| • | Massive capacity - Whether they are in an external drive or a notebook computer, WD's 320 GB 2.5-inch drives offer the most available capacity for space-hungry operating systems like Windows Vista?, plus plenty of room left over for photos, music, and video | | • | Fast and Efficient - With 5400 RPM spin speed and 12 ms access time, even the most demanding customer will appreciate the performance achieved by WD Scorpio drives. | | • | Quiet - In a notebook drive, silence is golden. WD's exclusive WhisperDrive combines state-of-the-art seeking algorithms to yield one of the quietest 2.5-inch hard drives on the market. These algorithms also optimize the way a drive seeks for data, which significantly improves power consumption. So now silence (and longer battery life) is golden | | • | Reliable and Rugged - WD's ShockGuard technology protects the drive mechanics and platter surfaces from shocks. WD's SecurePark parks the recording heads off the disk surface during spin up, spin down and when the drive is off. This ensures the recording head never touches the disk surface resulting in improved long term reliability due to less head wear, and improved non- operational shock tolerance | | • | Tested for Compatibility - We perform tests on hundreds of systems and a multitude of platforms in Western Digital's FIT Lab and Mobile Compatibility Lab to give our customers confidence that our drives will work in their systems |

Buy it now! November 19, 2008 Christopher M. Blount (San Antonio, TX USA) As others here, I upgraded my PS3 with this excellent drive. Couldn't have been easier to install. Before I upgraded, I backed up the old drive, slapped this baby in and restored. Now everything is exactly how it was except I have tons of space left to load HD videos taken with my Sony HD VideoCam. I don't even need a Blu-Ray burner. I just view my videos directly from the PS3 hard drive. Highly recommended for PS3 owners!
Very Nice! November 16, 2008 Marvin La Fontaine (NH USA) Very fast (both shipping and hdd performance. I got speeds up to 50 MB/s when transferring my media files onto my new drive. Overall I am very satisfied.
Great replacement drive November 13, 2008 Martin W. Naugher (Linden, VA USA) Doubled my MacBook storage capacity and the install was very simple. Package arrived in excellent shape and on time.
Superior quality for the price November 11, 2008 C. Campbell I bought this hard drive for my windows laptop and so far it has been excellent. All the specs are the same as my replaced Hitachi drive except the capacity of course, so the performance is the same as far as i can tell. The only downside that I've noticed about this drive is that when its under a heavy workload, such as resource-hog games, it get VERY hot. Usually, it gets around 58*C. Even though there are flaws, I have to give it a five star because for the price, they are all well-worth it. I highly recommend this product.

Like so many others, I puchased this drive as an upgrade from 60GB HD in my Playstation 3. The drive performs perfectly, no noise, no issues. It has handled everything I have thrown at it, movie downloads, music, and games. This HD is a great choice for Playstation 3 owners and is a great price.
