 The best way to carry a laptop July 27, 2010

Great backpack. The laptop compartment is right against your back, and easily holds my T510 ThinkPad. This is a very roomy backpack, with space to carry lots of stuff. the straps are very comfortable, even when only using one shoulder, with handstraps/thumbstraps sewn over top of the straps to make things even easier. The top handle feels solid and capable of handling a heavy load. A nice feature is that the bottom is waterproofed, although that protection does not extend to the bottom of the front pocket, which, if your backpack isn't loaded to the max, also sits on the ground. Double zippers onthe main compartment mean you can zip them both to the top for fast access.

I've been using this bag for the last 5 1/2 years and love it! It really lives up to the claims and fully deserves five stars on every attribute! I have traveled with it extensively, twice internationally and on many car and bus trips. It is still just as good as when it was new. This is a really good bag for your money.

This is a good looking sturdy bag for everyday use. I am a college student and use it to carry my 15.5 laptop and some books everyday. So far it's been a reliable piece and hope it will last for a while

I ordered five of these backpacks for our Dell D820 corporate laptops and I returned them all immediately. The padding in the bottom of the main laptop compartment is completely insufficient and couldn't possibly protect a heavier laptop like the D820. In addition to the lack of protective padding, on two of the five backpacks the main handle on top of the backpack was barely sewn on. If you care about protecting your laptop you should not buy this backpack.
