The only mouse-pad I will ever want to use April 25, 2008 DrTebi (San Francisco) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Being a programmer, I spend a lot of time on the computer, and supporting my wrist is important. I have tried many mouse-pads, and was never satisfied with any others than the Gel-eez mouse pad. The padding for the wrist is very comfortable, it feels soft but yet gives your wrist strong support. The problem with other mouse-pads is, that they have too little wrist support, and also that the pad where the mouse is on does not work well: With a laser mouse, you will sometimes encouter problems due to reflections of the surface the mouse it laying on. This was the case for a Belkin mouse-pad I tried. The Gel-eez mouse-pad works perfectly in that aspect. I bought my first Gel-eez mouse-pad about six years ago, and only today I can say it has worn out. Considering the amount of time the mouse-pad has been in use, six years is quite a good milage. It's great to find this product on Amazon. I ordered two, as I don't want to be without it in the future.
Great for avoiding carpal tunnel syndrome March 25, 2008 Cynthia A. Walker (Charlotte, NC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been using this mousepad for 10+ years, ever since I had a problem with carpal tunnel syndrome. It has a gel insert that you can take out and put in the refrigerator if you already have cts and it feels really good. It's soft for your wrist and I highly recommend it. I will never be without one!
10+ years and still going January 28, 2008 #1 Amazon Fan (Arkansas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
While I doubt many will see this review, I must say to those who do that this wrist rest with mousepad has been in use at both my office and home for over 10 years. Only recently has one of the wrist rests started to get a little too flat, which seems to be attributed to the loss of some air in one of the gel packs. I was delighted to find them on Amazon. I've tried other mousepads and encounter different ones at various places (friends, family), but nothing beats these things IMHO.
Repeat customer February 3, 2007 Donna Hancock (Long Beach, CA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was given this item as a gift several years ago from my brother, who spends even more time on the computer than I do. Unlike other reviewers, I actually appreciated when it went a bit "flat", as the support was too high for my wrist (I found it going a bit numb). Over time, it did go totally flat in the center, but I'd squish it around a bit, and that seemed to be OK. As other reviewers note, the gel packets (there are 2) are removable, so you can adjust the support (unfortunately I didn't notice that until later). I particularly like the mousepad surface, which is more fabric-like than those common slippery surfaces... I can't control my mouse on those. Eventually the gel packets in my pad crystalized and burst, which is why I'm now buying a new one.
Not Case Logic August 15, 2005 B. Williams 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have used a genuine Case Logic Gel-eez mouse pad for several years. I wanted to obtain a second pad for my office, and this was the only source I could find. The product I received has a "[...]" brand tag on it. The item is similar to the Case Logic, but not the same. The finish on the gel "pillow" is a little rougher (loose strings, one pocket not sewn shut completely) and either the pockets are wider or the gell pillows are smaller/less full, so the gel spreads out more and is flatter than the Case Logic pillow -- I prefer a little more support under the wrist. A little use of needle and thread should be able to fix these issues, and I expect to be happy with the pad over the long term, but it is not the item I thought I ordered.
